Tumblr devilman9/14/2023 ![]() A possible name for the Quirk could be “Smokestack”. Aside from being limiting to a certain substance, the overuse of the Quirk will cause the user to start coughing, making it difficult for them to use their Quirk or even breath properly at its most severe. They can burn people, counter those with fire Quirks, clear out burning buildings, cover their area with smoke, or always have an easy source of food nearby. This gives the user a unique mix of offense and support, removing fire and smoke from an area to prevent damage to other people. Any unused fire or smoke will instead be used as substance for the user, replacing their need to eat and sleep. The user can cover a large amount of this all at once, able to put out a burning house all on their own. This may then fire back what they at out of their mouth, using it as a way to attack other people. I see it working as an Mutant type Quirk that allows the user to harmlessly in suck fire and smoke into body by breathing whenever either is nearby. It will never cease to amaze me how far people can go into the backlog to find asks I did. A possible name for the Quirk could be “Throwing Arc” My Hero Academia Quirks Original Quirk The Quirk will require a lot practice on the user’s part, both with the throwing and controlling of the boomerangs. Though the user has a limited supply of boomerangs to work with, only thirty in total, and will need time to restore their stock if any of them are destroyed. They can attack from surprising angles, nab objects from far away, pin people to objects with their boomerangs, use them like knives in close quarters, or just always have a weapon on hand. ![]() This gives the user a good combat Quirk, capable of employing unique strategies to catch opponents off guard. The user has some control over the boomerangs as they are they return, such as causing them to suddenly pull back after throwing them, having it fly behind them, or moving their hand to change their movement. The boomerangs are naturally pulled back to the user’s body and hands, even over long distances, and they are capable of making sharp turns just to make it back. These boomerangs are exceptionally well made, easily able to slice through wood without much issue, though the user can make them blunt and send them through the air at high speeds. I see it working as an Emitter type Quirk allows the user to make boomerangs from their hands. And I can easily make a Quirk out of boomerangs. ![]() The only ones I think could work are Captain Boomerang, and maybe Mirror Master and Captain Cold. A lot of them are too powerful to be a Quirk or have weird gimmicks that wouldn’t translate over well. I’m not sure if a lot of their powers could even work. A possible name for the Quirk could be “Devil”. The wings make for an obvious target and temperature resistance does not mean immunity. Though this form does cost more stamina than the user’s normal body, making it hard to use it for too long. They can cut opponents at close range, fly around to gain a better view, overpower those with temperature related Quirks, grab objects with their tail, or strike fear into their enemies with their new form. While not excelling at much, the user still has access to useful abilities while the Quirk is active. The leathery, bat-like wings allow the user to fly, granting them superior mobility, while their body improve their overall capabilities such as their speed and strength. Though the more impressive features are the wings and the user’s overall body. This comes with some minor benefits, such as new horns, tail, claws, and resistance to extreme temperatures. I see it working as a Transformation type Quirk that allows the user to take on the form of a devil, granting the physical traits commonly associate with them, such as red skin. Not like having a devil possess the user or anything like that, just one of those mythological Quirks like “Dragon”. But I do think that just turning into a devil could easily work as a Quirk. Most of his abilities are simply way too strong to really work as a Quirk.
